Our storyWill my cat or dog actually use it?
Most cats and dogs take to moving water quickly because it looks and smells fresher than a still bowl. Put it where the old bowl was, leave the old bowl out for the first day or two, and let them explore it. If your pet isn't drinking from it after 30 days, send it back for a full refund.
How does cordless work?
The fountain sits on an induction charging base. Lift it off to carry it to the sink, clean it, refill it and drop it back on. No cable to unplug, no wet plug socket, no lead for a tail to catch.
How often do I change the filter?
Every two to four weeks depending on how many pets drink from it and how hard your water is. A four pack covers a single pet household for about two months. Filters are activated carbon and slot straight into the pump housing.
How do I clean it?
Lift the bowl off the base, tip the water out and wash the stainless steel bowl in warm soapy water or the dishwasher. Rinse the pump under the tap once a week. Five minutes, no crevices, no slime.
Is stainless steel really better than plastic?
Plastic scratches, and scratches hold biofilm, which is the slimy layer you feel in a bowl that hasn't been washed. Stainless steel is smoother, doesn't hold odours, and goes in the dishwasher. It's why vets and kennels use steel bowls, and why we didn't make Bram out of anything else.
Is the pump noisy?
At normal flow it's quieter than a fridge. You'll hear a gentle trickle of water, not a motor. Turn the flow down if you want it almost silent at night.
